The Driving Academy was founded in 2010. Our senior instructor, John, has been involved with vehicles and driving all his working life. He is a qualified motor mechanic and throughout his career has driven buses, trucks and all types of cars professionally. He is a previous winner of the safe driver of the year title and has also represented Ireland in international safe driving competitions. He has been employed as a chauffeur for almost 30 years, is a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and qualified as an RSA approved driving instructor (ADI) at the Irish School of Motoring's Driving Instructor College.
